Henry County, GA has a new pool!

Construction on this new pool began in December of 2014. Building pools over winter  months tend to have delays due to the weather. But, now that’s it’s springtime, we were able to complete this lovely new addition to a new home with plenty of time to spare for optimal enjoyment.

The vermiculite has been laid and is ready for the new liner.

This pool features a 4 foot wide poured concrete deck that hugs the pool and provides stability to the sides. The liner is a 30 mil liner that is expected to last for 15 years with proper maintenance.

The pool liner has been installed and the pool is ready to be filled. Don't forget to let your local water authority know that you'll be filling your pool. You can save on the cost that way.

When should I open my pool?

Swimming pools are a wonderful addition to any yard.  Most of our customers like to have their pools open before Easter.  Some of our customers, on the other hand, wait until after the spring pollen season is over to open their pools.

Either way has its benefits and drawbacks.  Before Easter, your pool will be subjected to the yellow haze of Georgia springtime.  Your skimmer is capable of handling this, and just a few minutes with a brush and net will keep your pool welcoming even through the worst of the pollen days.

If you wait until after the spring pollen season, the initial opening time will be a little longer.  Cleaning up of the accumulated pollen takes a little bit longer and can result in higher initial costs.

All openings include a cleaning, making sure the filtration system is fully operational, and installing of the ladders and returns.  We allow ninety (90) minutes for each opening.  Chemicals are an additional cost, and we will be more than happy to use yours, should you have your own.  Please be aware, should your pool be exceptionally dirty, addition visits may be required to achieve crystal-clear waters resulting in higher opening costs.

What is a Pool Maintenance Service Agreement?

Whether it’s leaves, algae, water chemistry, salt content, or liner longevity that has you the most concerned with your pool, we can take care of it.  We offer weekly, biweekly or monthly service agreements that are ensured to leave your pool crystal clear and worry free during the entire season.

During our visit(s) you will receive a thorough cleaning, including vacuuming of all debris, netting of the surface, a backwash of the filtration system, and a five part chemical test.

Water chemistry is a leading cause of shorter liner life.  When the chemicals are not “balanced”, the liner can become brittle, discolored, or bleached.  Imbalanced chemicals can even cause the liner to blister and tear.  Properly balanced chemicals result in supple liners and hoses, reduced chance of algae growth, and a more enjoyable swimming experience.  Should any of your chemicals need attention, we will make the adjustments.

Have a salt pool?  We will verify the salt content against your system readings.
